Grade 8
Sep 2000 - present
I hold a Grade 8 Piano Certificate from the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), where I developed a strong foundation in various essential techniques, including scales, arpeggios, sight-reading, and playing studies. This training also gave me the ability to interpret and perform a wide range of music genres, spanning different composers and musical eras. In addition to technical skills, I gained valuable experience in musical expression, understanding dynamics, and mastering performance practices. Preparing for piano grades taught me the importance of discipline, time management, and setting achievable goals—skills that deeply influence my teaching approach today.
