Hello there! My name is Bruno, I'm a 27 year old drummer from Brazil and have been playing gigs as a drummer and teaching drums professionally from the age of 18. In my hometown, I used to teach at a local private music school, and would also have my private students to whom I would teach at my home studio. During all these years, I developed my teaching method and was able to test a lot of ideas with my students throughout the years. I taught mainly children from the age of 6 to 13, but some adults as well. I moved to London in the beginning of the year to study music production and sound engineering, and throughout the year started to work in primary, secondary and private schools all over Central London and Surrey. I'm currently employed by Totally Rad Schools, a tuition agency that provided me with work in St. Johns CofE Primary School, in Caterham; Shawley Community Primary Accademy, in Epsom; and Brampton Manor Academy, a secondary school in East Ham, in East London. I also work on Bromley Conservatoire, a private school in Bromley. Recently I also started to work for Hope Music Academy, teaching drum lessons in my home studio. I'm also teaching drum classes online, which led me to partner with musicprof in order to find new students! So if you're interested in learning drums in a easy and practical way, I believe I'm a great option for you. I can tell that I'm a very eclectic musician and I overall listen to all types of music. So we'll have no problem exploring the drums within the genre(s) of your preference. Whether we're talking about rock beats, to pop or hip hop songs, to classic funk and soul music, or jazz, or reggae, I have experience in playing and teaching all of that. I used to study in the music conservatory of my hometown and there I would play weekly a bunch of different styles in the group practices, as part of the curriculum. Also I spent my adult life playing all types of music in the night scene of my city as a sideman and live drummer, so I would play everything from Rock and Pop, to Reggae, to Brazilian Music, to Funk... I also played with some respected composers in my city as their drummer, and I also write and produce my own music, so to me the most important thing in my classes is always applying what we learned to actual music, and making sure that the music itself is always our main priority, even if we're studying and focusing this beautiful instrument which are the drums.
