I have been teaching for more than 15 years. My students often have an amateur approach, even if I was able to train music professionals from another field, who needed keyboard instruction (guitarist, singer, classical pianist, keyboardist ...). Holder of a DEM in early music, I previously benefited from classical training in the private sector. I also have a good experience of Jazz and current music that I practiced professionally for 10 years. If students would like to do exams I am happy to go down that route but it is not a necessity. I have plenty of experience and enjoy preparing students for leaving certificate practical exams and grade exams for the Royal Irish Academy of music and also for live performances/gigs.
