Violin teacher

I am currently the part-time violin teacher at the school, teaching the children in the school who have signed up for violin lessons during their class music period. I teach them how to play the violin from the very beginning, also including music theory and aural training. I have other employments at other schools in the area as well, and I teach privately from home in the afternoons. I prepare my students for bi-annual recitals that I organise for all my students, as well as external music exams from certified and recogised examination bodies such as Trinity House and Royal Schools. For those who are interested in smaller achievements, I prepare them for Eisteddfods as well as internal exams as part of their practical marks for music as a subject (high school students). I have taught violin for about 15 years in total, teaching in multiple provinces, at multiple schools and in private capacities, ranging in students from beginner to advanced level, from the age of 5 up until 78. The students who show the most dedication and progress are invited to join the violin ensemble that I have started two years ago. This ensemble is meant to serve as an orchestral training program for young string players, teaching them how to play in a group and work together to find harmony and balance.
